The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouses, laundry facilities, or event storage areas. This role ensures efficient material handling, proper inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to transport, stack, and organize materials safely.

Load and unload shipments from trucks or storage areas.

Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any maintenance needs.

Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of materials and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Assist warehouse or laundry teams with general material handling tasks.

Keep work areas clean and organized.
Job Requirements

Previous forklift operation experience required; warehouse or industrial experience preferred.

Valid forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures.

Ability to lift, bend, and work in standing positions for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak-season shifts.
Work Environment
Forklift Operators work in warehouses, laundry facilities, and event storage areas throughout South Florida. The role is physically active, involving lifting, standing, and operating machinery in busy warehouse environments. Schedules may include nights, weekends, holidays, and peak-season shifts.
