The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to Boom Services standards. This role supports kitchen operations by ensuring timely, high-quality food preparation while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and portion guidelines.

Ensure proper presentation and quality of all dishes served.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.

Assist with inventory management and report supply needs to management.

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

Support the kitchen team during peak service periods to ensure smooth operations.

Assist in setup and breakdown of kitchen stations as needed.
Job Requirements

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required; training available.

Cooks work in hotels, restaurants, and event venues throughout South Florida. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working in hot, busy kitchen environments. Schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
