The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining or event experience. This role supports servers and the kitchen team while maintaining high standards of service, professionalism, and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables or event stations quickly and accurately.

Assist servers with clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.

Ensure proper presentation and temperature of all dishes served.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate timely service.

Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines according to Boom Services standards.

Maintain a clean and organized service area, including food stations and carts.

Assist with other tasks as needed to support a seamless guest experience.
Job Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred but not required.

Ability to carry trays and plates safely, often over long distances.

Work Environment
Food Runners work in hotels, restaurants, conference centers, and event venues across South Florida. The role is physically active, involving frequent walking, lifting, and carrying. Schedules vary depending on event demands and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
